Visitors can now delve behind the scenes and discover the people, history and geography of the landscape that shaped the Kent & East Sussex Railway with our new audio-visual guides.
Find out about the history of the line, what it feels like to drive the trains, and hear from the people who keep it running today plus uncover the fascinating secrets of the countryside around you at every twist and turn of your journey.
The audio-visual guides are so easy for everyone to use. They are crammed full of stories, anecdotes, archival photographs, interviews and so much more. Best of all they are entirely self-guided. So you can find out more about what interests you and move into more detailed levels all at your own pace.
Each player comes fully charged for all-day use in a bright coloured case and best of all it comes with two sets of headphones, two for the price of one you might say!
At £2.50 per day the player is an obvious choice for visitors who want to enhance their visit in an interactive and unique way. Add one to your visit when you buy your tickets and we’ll show you how it works, or pre-order online and we’ll have the player ready for your arrival.
The Guide also provides a tour of the Colonel Stephens Railway Museum.
