Royal visits, visiting locos and the rebuilding of the line to Northiam and Bodiam are just some of the many features included. A fascinating chronicle of the K&ESR from its days as an independent railway through to the early years of preservation, the reopening in 1974 and beyond. The rare footage includes a train at Bodiam in the 1930s, colour footage of the lost Headcorn extension and the early days of preservation in the 1960s and 1970s.
