Book early for the Evacuation Experience - Monday 21st - Thursday 24th MAY 2012

This Experience has been developed with the continuing support of the South East Grid for Learning (SEGfL). It links closely with the teaching suggestions outlined in the QCA scheme of work for History:

Unit 9: What was it like for children in the Second World War

• Why were children evacuated?
• What was it like to be an evacuee?

We are grateful for the help of the Medway Evacuee Reunion Group and the National Evacuee Reunion Association who provide real-life evacuees to travel on the 1 hour 20 minute return steam train journey down the line to Northiam and back whilst recounting their stories.
