The Mill Toy & Pedal Car Museum

Start your day from Tenterden Station and alight from the train at Northiam Station half an hour later to enter a breathtaking world in miniature.

red car exhibit
The Museum houses a unique collection of nostalgic pedal-powered toys superbly displayed in a lovingly restored former Mill. Opening its doors for the first time on Saturday 19th March 2011, the collection is the southeast's newest all-year, all-weather visitor attraction that's open everyday the railway operates.

Groups of all ages will enjoy a trip down memory lane as exhibits date from as early as Victorian times! The attraction boasts a delightful tea room and tranquil garden.

As The Mill overlooks the station at Northiam, it's simply a hop to rejoin a train to continue your trip.

There are a number of ways to enhance your visit with the railway's catering options listed here and these can be arranged quite simply with a telephone call to the railway on 01580 765155.
