 July 2007 Update Click on the photo to see all the photos in this collection A tremendous effort has been made by the Gardening Group to keep the railway looking lovely all summer despite the wet weather and the few numbers of willing helpers. Here, Brenda can be seen tending a flower bed at Tenterden Station. Just behind the fence there has been a bumper crop of tomatoes and at least four decent sized marrows, they, at least have enjoyed the wet weather!  January 2006 update
Click on the photo to see all the photos in this collection The Autumn period on the railway is naturally a reflection of what is going on in our own gardens. Its a time of pruning back and "reorganising" as flowers and fruits disappear and plants die back for the winter period. These pictures were taken mainly at Northiam station but reflect what has gone on elsewhere too. |
