Now April has arrived, it's difficult to remember those truly awful Tuesdays at the start of the year - High winds - and trees fell! (Wittersham Rd)

This quarter has seen a change in the centre of operations from Wittersham Rd back to Northaim Station with of course the usual trip out to jobs on other places up and down the line to repair, renovate and add new items. The Railway would love volunteers for a second team meeting on a different day. How about it then? Read about the sorts of things we do.

Occasional Tuesday marks a particularly interesting day as in this picture when Thomas was delivered to the scene of our own operations for the day - Wittersham Rd. The train is driven to the previously measured position for each individual post. Here we move on from Northiam station to find the yellow spray mark denoting the next post’s exact locationJanuary 2007 update

After many months of work at Northiam Station the gang’s centre of gravity shifted eastwards towards Wittersham Rd . This was once a key centre of the railway’s operations when this was the “end of the line” but surely a KESR Cinderella now. Up until July much of our work effort had been focused on Northiam. The last quarter has seen a more varied programme of works in a variety of locations. If this kind of work interests you, how about joining us?

This last quarter has seen us working almost exclusively at Northiam station on the actual station buildings. The requests for new tasks to be tackled always outstrip our ability to carry them out.

The cold weather of the past quarter have not kept the Tuesday gang away from the railway as this report shows. Pity about the mainly grey skies though.

After many months at Tenterden, the latter part of 2005 has mainly been spent working on the Northiam Station site.
Northiam station building was the main focus of our endeavours.
