Enjoy an action packed half term at the Kent & East Sussex Railway

Looking for something to amuse the children during June half term? You will find plenty of fun and excitement during the Kent & East Sussex Railway's "Fun Week", which takes place between Tuesday 1 June and Friday 4 June when everyone can enjoy fun packed activity days all for the price of a train ticket!

The four days of fun and games will take place at Tenterden station between 10am and 4:30pm. Children can have their faces painted and enjoy numerous arts and craft activities on offer each day including cutting, playing with foam shapes and having fun with stickers and paints!

Everyone can take part in a variety of exciting Giant Garden Games, where families can pit their wits with Jenga and Connect 4, or try their skill at Pick Up sticks, and have fun with family favourite Snakes and Ladders!

All this plus a return 10 ½ mile train ride on a steam or diesel train from Tenterden to Bodiam station makes this a fantastic value-for-money day out!

There is also a special offer throughout fun week when the Railway's family ticket will cost only £30 instead of £34 (2 adults and up to 3 children or 1 adult and up to 4 children).

Visitors presenting a valid Kent & East Sussex Railway ticket will be treated to discounted castle admission (Adults: £5 Children: £2.50)

Visitors may also choose to board trains from Bodiam and Northiam stations which run daily to Tenterden.

Fun Week - Tuesday 1 June to Friday 4 June 10am until 4:30. The green time table will operate during Fun Week with: 3 steam and 2 heritage diesel departures each day.
