'Kids for a Quid' in the summer holidays at the Kent & East Sussex Railway
Enjoy fantastic value days out this summer with the 'Kids for a Quid' promotion at the Kent & East Sussex Railway in Tenterden.
This special offer is available between 27 July and 28 August 2011 when accompanied children can travel for just £1.
To take advantage of this offer families need to visit the Railway's website, (www.kesr.org.uk) print off the voucher and present it at any booking office when purchasing a ticket. Each voucher allows up to 3 children to travel for £1 each during the summer holidays (27 July to 28 August) with one full paying adult or senior citizen (£13.50 & £12.50 respectively per ticket).
Passengers can board the beautifully restored vintage steam trains at Tenterden Station and enjoy a scenic 10½ mile journey, passing through the Rother Valley, to Bodiam station.
The Rover tickets entitle families to enjoy unlimited travel all day, making this an ideal opportunity to explore Tenterden Town and discover the other visitor attractions close to Northiam and Bodiam Stations.
When you hop off at Northiam station why not visit the south-east's newest attraction, The Mill Toy & Pedal Car Museum which can be found directly opposite Northiam station. Visitors presenting a valid Kent & East Sussex Railway ticket will be treated to £1 per person off the standard admission charge (Adults: £4.00, Senior Citizens: £3.50, Children: £3.00)
Bodiam Castle is only a short walk from Bodiam station and this magnificent medieval castle will take visitors back in history as they explore the impressive Castle ruins with its battlements and towers. Visitors presenting a valid Kent & East Sussex Railway ticket will be treated to discounted castle admission (Adults: £5.80 Children: £2.90).
Additionally, with a second voucher available from the railway's website, on every Monday in August the National Trust will allow one FREE child's 'Dress to Impress' activity on production of a valid railway 'Kids for a Quid' ticket.

• Tenterden and Northiam are situated on the A28 between Ashford and Hastings and both stations have spacious car parks, which are free. Visitors who would like to start their journey at Bodiam can park at the Castle for just £2 per day.
