The Wealden Pullman Dining Train

The Kent & East Sussex Railway introduced the 'Wealden Pullman' in 1974 and it proved an immediate success. Today, all meals are prepared & cooked onboard and served by the train's largely volunteer staff in the finest traditions of the Pullman Car Company, maintaining for posterity a reminder of a more elegant age.

More about the Wealden Pullman

Trains depart from Tenterden Town Station except for the Sunday Lunch Pullman which departs from Northiam Station. The trains run on various dates between March and December and you can choose to dine on Friday evenings, Saturday evenings or Sunday lunchtime.  On selected Saturday dates, the evening Pullman has a theme based around Sherlock Holmes or Fawlty Towers and these are extremely popular so early booking is advised.  Please use the links to the left of the page for dates, menus and prices and more detailed information.
