This special Father's Day treat includes a return journey on one of the Railway's stunning vintage steam trains and Dad can choose from a delicious homemade ploughmans lunch or cream tea, served to your private table and complemented with a bottle of the railway's very own beer, "Dad's Delight" (soft drink option available).
Also included in your dad's treat is a complementary caricature which will be drawn during your train ride and presented to Dad in order that he remembers his special day.
The Kent & East Sussex Railway stretches for10 ½ miles between Tenterden and Bodiam stations and visitors of all ages will love the excitement of travelling on one of the country's finest rural light railways.
Relax on board and enjoy some quality time with Dad, as you take in the beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside, interrupted only by the gentle chug of the steam engine.
There will be a choice of two trains from Tenterden station on Father's Day departing at 1:15pm and 3:30pm. Dads can choose to enjoy either a delicious homemade ploughmans lunch or a cream tea on either train.

At Bodiam station, the magnificent medieval castle is only a short walk away (please be aware you cannot visit the castle if travelling on the 3:30pm train) where visitors can step back in history as they explore the impressive battlements and towers, which offer breathtaking views across the countryside. Visitors presenting a valid Kent & East Sussex Railway ticket will be treated to discounted castle admission (Adults: £5 Children: £2.50)

Tenterden and Northiam are situated on the A28 between Ashford and Hastings and both stations have spacious car parks which are free. Please note that there is no parking at Bodiam Station so passengers are advised to park and ride from Tenterden or Northiam.
