Artists' Days
This event is open to all bona fide artists. During these days artists can draw, paint or sketch their favourite scene of the railway in preparation for their entry to an exhibition and sale of work and competition in August. There's a £5 entry fee but unlimited travel is available on the railway.

A great opportunity to see behind the scenes of the Carriage & Wagon dept, the Locomotive dept. and many other railway departments including catering, operating, museum and signalling. There's opportunities to speak with engine crew and station staff about their roles so if you're interested joining us as a volunteer in any capacity even for a few hours per month you'll be very welcome.

Our strawberry feast is freshly prepared using only the finest produce aboard the train by our Chef. Only available on the weekend advertised, the treat will enhance any trip on the railway. We will reserve seats for a single trip although your ticket is valid as an All-Day Rover allowing an immediate return or time to spend at the destination. Your strawberry tea is served to your table. The single journey takes around 50 minutes, ample time to enjoy your food.

Produce stalls will be at Tenterden & Bodiam stations giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy two markets. All produce offered for sale will have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, processed or made in the south-east of England.
