Service Update
Due to the continued very high risk of lineside fires, train services will be operated by heritage diesels until further notice. We continue to review the situation on a daily basis and will resume steam hauled services as soon as it is safe to do so. Thank you for your kind understanding and continued support of the K&ESR.

Zog Visits! - Monday 17 August 2026Zog is visiting the Kent & East Sussex Railway on 17th August, with appearances at intervals throughout the day. Begin your adventure at Tenterden Town Station, where you’ll board a steam train for a 60 minute return journey along the railway. Every child will receive a story book, activity sheet, crayon, juice and biscuit to keep them busy during the journey! Then when you return to the station Zog will be waiting to meet families, wave hello and pose for photos, so don’t forget your camera!
